The Roots function venue is in its 9th year of making dreams come true. We believe that celebrating life and it's events is realy magical! To create the perfect event takes a very special person to wave the magic wand. It was with this in mind that the Roots Academy was establised.
The Roots Academy is part of an extended ROOTS family: the Roots function venue, as mentioned, as well as the Potchefstroom Chef Academy that offers a culinary qualification. These ventures are interlinked in terms of sharing expertise and experience and this is where students gaining industry experience!
Meet the Founder & Head:
The Potchefstroom Chef Academy was founded by the owner and Managing Director Selmarie Grobler. Selmarie is also the founder and owner of The Roots function venue. The Potchefstroom Chef Academy operates on the premises of The Roots and students gain valuable industry experience from their first year on.
